Great use of paper. Maybe my dislike of NM comes from living on the edge of a brown-brown-brown reservation with a no snow winter, all the houses looked like they belonged to Fred Flintstone and I was SO morningsick.
Probably -- let's meet in Santa Fe, Leenie, and I'll take you on Susan's-art-and-eating tour, which is sure to change your mind about the enchantment of NM!
Santa Fe--never been. Wasn't in the budget, but NOW! Esp. on a SAAE tour. Maybe it COULD be the land of enchantment after all.
BTW--maybe try watercolor pencils (I know, I know, you'd have to go to the art supply store and shop some MORE but art involves sacrifices of all kinds. Get some good ones and make the jump from pencil to brush a little less abrupt.

Good advice, Leenie! I might like watercolor pencils.
And now that we have an official acronym, I think perhaps I should hang out my shingle as a Santa Fe tour guide...
